I am looking for a set of ladder bars for the Ole Dodge. I am going to be having a 10 inch lift installed and not to sure how long they need to be... There is a pic of what I am looking for... Also if anyone knows of a dealer that I maybe able to buy it from would be great!! Thanks

If you're looking for something like that, they're simple to fabricate! We have most of everything we need here to pump out several sets of bars like those with 2.5" adjustable Johnny Joints at each end. We also have a tubing bender if you want something fancier. As far as length, most off-the-shelf bars are 3-5ft long and don't take into acount the amount of suspension lift. The only thing length will effect is how far forward on the frame the bars will mount. Measure 3ft, 4ft, and 5ft from the front of the axle tube to the frame. Look on both sides of the frame rail for anything that might interfere with a mounting bracket(gas tank on the driver's side, fuel lines, brake lines, etc, etc). If one length will give you too much grief, run a shorter, or longer bar to avoid problems.

When will you be coming back from Iraq? I'll be fabbing a set for my Tahoe and S10 as soon as we finish at least 1 of the 2 trucks at the shop. Now that I mention it, Bruce's will be done before mine. I can post pictures after they've been powdercoated. The cost will be materials cost + a reasonable labor fee. The labor fee depends entirely on how wild, or mild you want the bars. If you want straight bars like in the picture, labor won't be much, because there's not much to them.

I still have the 5ft Fabritech Stage V's, but they've been removed from the Tahoe since I added the extra 2.5" of lift to the front and 3" to the rear. They're non-adjustable traction bars, so I'd have to move the frame mounts back to re-install them and I don't want the frame looking like swiss cheese. I looked at and thought about cutting the frame end, sleeving it, and installing a 2.5" Johnny Joint to make them adjustable.... but then I'd have to re-powdercoat them, or they'd look like sh*t. If anyone wants them, I'll sell the Stage V's cheap and get you the correct brackets for installing them on your truck from Eric at our discounted price. I haven't decided how I'm going to do the new bars on the Tahoe, but they will be adjustable and have Johnny Joints at both ends. For the S10, I'm going to fab. a traction bar simliar to the one Sam Patton sells. It prevents axle wrap, but doesn't hinder articulation off road.
