What in the world is auto start? Is it like a keyless start for a diesel?

Remote starters can be found at most all of the places that sell car audio/video equipment, alot of dealers sell and install them too, little pricey but you cant beat the warrenty. Dealers will cover the remote starter, and anything it may damage if there is a problem with the unit. Aftermarket just cover there product and not what you put it in. Boston

bocephus i did some more searchin for ya and bulldog is another system that i keep seeing and is recommended . all the ads say that certain ones work for diesels but i would research it some more. i'll ask a friend of mine in Maryland that installs security systems and owns a 2500.

Bocephus my buddy tells me the Vyper 791xv or the Python 881xp. The Python aint cheap either, but he said it is the best. The Vyper mentions diesel and glow plugs. Check into them.
