I can't really say what the headers themselves do because I had mine put on when I got my true duals put on, but when I went true duals and headers I noticed a pretty nice difference.

I am looking for headers for my 4.7, and I heard that it really is not differance. But I guess there is not to much you can do to that engine.

i bet there is alot you could do with the 4.7, and if not give it time and there will be a lot of stuff for that engine.

Yes hedders are definately worth the money!
I have noticed leaps and bounds of improvement with the installation of hedders and a good exhaust system to match.
You will be pleased witht he results, which brand you going with?
I usually get flowtech or afterburners...they are less expensive, but a good quality product.
Be sure to get some wrap and wrap them up, this will decrease the temp in the engine bay, and I would suggest true duals, 3" if possible, and FlowMaster 40's or 50's, with 1 foot 5" diam tips.
Thats what I'd do.

well my exhaust is only about a year old and so i want to keep it as long as i can (cost me a nice chunch of change), but i was just thinking of punching out the cat when i get to wyoming and then running headers as well.
