Ill work on it, But those of you with Military experience...You know those single wheeled 5 ton trucks? The Michelin X's that are on them. JR EDIT: Here you go! They are about 1/4 the cost of a set of 44 inch Boggers, and a better tire, in my opinion, for what I need. Mine wont be grooved though.... JR

4.56 is plenty unless you are going to be mudd boggin just enough to keep the tranny from shifting all the time you should reprogram the engine as well my hypertech allows me to reprogram 4.56s which is what i have

I am turning 49s w/ 6.72s 46s w/ 5.38s and 32s w/ 3.92s. Here is a comparison of a couple popular 52s off another AZ truck: 53s XL vs XZL

Well as everyone knows I went with 4.56 with my 40's and I am thinking about going 5.22!! Because sooner or later I am going to be running 44's and I have the money and thinking about changing them out agian. So I will have a set of 4.56 gears to sell. Just a thought but really leaning torwards it.

35's with 4.10s on the ram - definetely getting lower gears in the near future.
39.5s and 4.10s on the blazer - haven't found the time or money to upgrade that. Going for 5.13s at least

Just a thought but really leaning torwards it. Where did you come up with 5.22?? I've never heard of a 5.22 ratio. The closest ratio to 5.22 that I know of is 5.25 for a Ford 9". The lowest ratio available for your 9.25 rear axle is 4.88(just came out) and the lowest available for your IFS front is 5.13. Unless you plan on swapping axles, you're stuck with 4.88's at best. To run 44's, I'd recommend at a minimum 5.13's, but lower would be better.

The reason I said that was a few friends over here was talking about putting 5.22 in theres. But you think I am going to be fine with 4.56! I am wanting the best bang for the buck!

I don't know what axles your friends are putting 5.22's in, but again, I've never heard of that ratio being available for any differential.
4.56's with 44's won't be near enough and I'd run at least 4.88's, or 5.13's with your 39.5's. With 4.56's and 44's, you wouldn't be able to use overdrive and the stress on your transmission would probably burn it up.
Since there isn't a gear ratio lower than 4.88 for your rear axle, I would swap axles and install at least 5.13's(5.38's-lower would be better) before even thinking about running 44's!
Lower gears= higher numerical value Ex. 5.13's are "lower" than 4.56's
Higher gears= lower numerical value Ex. 4.56's are "higher" than 5.13's
