I am thinking about one or the other and needing some opinion! These MODS are about the almost the same amount of money and wondering what is better to get!! I have a 4.7L and just wanting to get the best performance I can possibly get out of this engine!! Thanks
1. headers
2. programmer

I would go with a programmer Brian, then you can change alot of things like speed and rev limiters and make adjustment for tires and gears plus gain performance, where the headers are just performance and wouldn't gain that much without a whole exhaust system. :2cents

That is what I thought too, and with all the driving I do, it would work out great!! Thanks for the info....

I on the other hand would go with the headers. I've hear that there's not much that the programmers can do for the 4.7. The headers will look better, give you a better sound, and give you 2-3 mpg better.

Well here is the deal, I am wanting the headers to but I can get a programmer and exhaust for the price of headers. I have spend alot of money in the lift and tires andonly have very little left over. I understand were you are coming from bigram, but I and going with more for my money. Later down the road I will be getting headers that is for shizzle.... Thanks for the info guys!!

I would get the programmer, I have they are good for the 4.7, talk to Waydeo in the Georgia Chapter over at DTW, he has Superchips 4.7, and he likes it and has been said to keep up with a Hemi with it.
