Got the okay from the second in command and putting another lift on the Ram. Decided for now just to go 5 more inches, and eventually add my coils spacers for a total of 7 susp + 3 body
Going with the shackle flip in rear 5" skyjacker coils and control arms DT Profab track bar not sure if I am going to make custom sway bar links or drop brackets also not sure what kinda shocks I plan on running.
Plan is to have it done for the Indy jamboree

Well its kinda a daily driver, but I have a car too I use mainly for work and some daily driving. It will only be a total of 8" of lift for now so shouldn't be too bad. Planning on 37" tires for now till I get different gears. Need to get it at least as big as my blazer (at least height wise) - lol.
Once I get ambitious I will add another 2" - but that will also involved getting an tcase indexing ring.

Yeah that would be cool - I went three years ago, and the last two years we planned on it, but something always happened right as it approached. I plan on going the 3-days and even if I don't lift it more by then, I will still bring it with the little lift and tires. Would love to trailer the blazer there too and show it off too show a cheap big truck, but don't know if it will ever make it down here to Indiana.

Well shackle flip is on its way - suppose to be sent out today. Did recieve the drop pitman arm though don't know how long I'll use it because knowing me I will put the spacers on sooner then I want. Still waiting on a good deal for coils and shocks (don't know what type of shocks yet either).

lol - so far so good Chris...... the wife complains every once and awhile, but I always bring up her 6.2 million dollars I spend on purses for her, and she subsides a little.
ah - the blazer is a lost cause now...... Have bid on a few jeeps lately but they always go out of my price range. I am going up north this late spring to take it out and wheel the poop outta it.
Ordering the control arms and springs this week.

Anyone have any ideas for colors to paint the suspension. I was thinking either yellow, red, or an orange color for the following:
Control arms springs leafs possible ? shock boots

Okay arms and coils are ordered and should be here in a few days. I have already run into an issue with the shackle flip. The way my exhaust goes the shackle needs to go right thru my exhaust. I did talk to the shop that put it on, and for a few bucks they can cut and install a spacer if needed. Now just need to get my track bar, and make the sway bar ends. I'll start throwin up some pics when more parts make it in, and show some build photos.

Okay here is most of it for now: 5" coils and arms by skyjacker shackle flip for rear by Rockready - I may not use this and go with the 4" aal + shim instead since if I used the shackle flip I need to do some exhaust relocation. Also in this pic is the drop pitman arm too. This came yesterday - BDS drop track bar Also got another set of sway bar links - they are stock but this way I have a set I can try to build longer ones. I may eventually look into to making some kind of disconnects for them. Now all I need is shocks - if anyone sees some good deals let me know.

Well shipped most of the parts out to get repowder coated since most of it is skyjacker and we all know what lovely paint they have. Not doing the springs though because when they start to rust then it will give me a good excuse to add the coil spacers and get the coils painted then. Hopefully mid July the lift will be on, and I will throw up some pics.
