www.offroaddesign.com/catalog/shacklekit.htmRan these on My BLAZER. Off Road Engineering. I have seen them run and they ROCK! I am going to use the idea on the rear of JR. They are a bolt on kit for most Chevies, I am not sure if they are bolt on for anything else, I have never looked, But I am going to make them work on JR, shouldnt be that hard, they just dont make a kit specifically for anything but Chevy and Jeep(I dont think) check out their site at offroaddesign.comJR

Call Tyler at Carrier Spring Service in Canada. Tell him Brent from Atlantic OffRoad sent you. They sell a '94-newer Ram specific flip. www.customsuspension.com/We installed them on a '99 Ram 2500 that we recently completed

Thanks for the link. Do you know if this is a bolt on kit? How hard are these flips to do?

Hey, far as I know it is a bolt on and pretty easy to do!! Some thing is telling me that you may have to re-drill new holes and make sure that you use top of the line bolts!! NOW ALL I CAN FIND IS FOR CHEVY.... Is there a big differance that is the question!! Here are some pics I have found...

The GM hangers are setup for a GM frame and spring perch spacing. Even if you re-drill the holes, if the frame isn't the same width, the rear of the springs will kick out. Seriously, just call Tyler at Carrier. He will send you hangers that fit YOUR truck without modifications!
Do they sell them to fit new gen. Rams?!?!?! WHY would they need to? I don't know about the 1500's, but '03-newer Ram 2500/3500's already have compression style shackles! If the '02-newer 1500's still have tension style hangers, Carrier Spring will sell you hangers that are a direct bolt on. The hardest part of the install is removing the rivets that hold the factory hangers to the frame.

check with truckn suspensions.com they make a huge drop hanger set from 4-10" i cut the bottoms out of my hanger and made my own shackle flip check this out has been working fone for me for the past 2 years... the only thing it really did was push my axle forward a bit, but this was before i found out about teh zero rate block from offroad design yo can also look up mark miozzi with siblingrivalry.com they can custom make a set for you

I thought about doing that about a year ago, but I thought it would weaken the hanger to much. And you have had no problem with it!! Great Idea....

I have one on the Ex, the forward mount of the springs was moved back to fix the problem Fiji mentioned. On the F350, the compression design was kept, but lowered:

Cutting the bottom out of the compression hanger and sticking the shackle through the hole is pointless if you actually use the truck. You can gain some lift, but you'll also limit suspension travel. Buy, or fab, a real compression setup if you're looking to improve off road performance.
