hate to have to do it, but i'm offering up my '86 ramcharger for sale. it's a royal se model with bucket seats and such. powertrain is a 318/2bbl, 727 auto with new filter installed, np208 transfer case that works fine, d44 front axle and a chrysler 9.25" rear both of whic are open diff'd.
first off i'll go over the bad:
1. rust, not horrible, but it needs attention
2. front brakes
3. steering issues (not sure if it's the box or ball joints)
4. interior is torn up a good bit (needs headliner, door panels and other things are a bit grungy, seats are ripped)
5. needs timing chain replaced b4 it jumps time
6. needs a new passenger side mirror
and a couple other small things i'm sure
now the good
1. new rear brakes (everything but the wheel cylinders)
2. new power steering pump and lines
3. new driveshaft u-joints and straps (not installed)
4. new lug nuts (front need installed)
5. new rear wheel studs (2 installed, rest not yet)
6. good tires (31x10.50 15 chaparral a/p's) with only about 1000mi or so
7. 200w sony x-plod cd player (flip down face)
8. 2 pioneer 6x9's in boxes
9. good new 31" spare (original goodyear wrangler with no dry rot)
i wasn't gonna try to restore this rig myself, i was going to use it for a trail rig, but i've moved and i don't have the $$ to tow it 275mi.. it would definately be an awsome rig to build for trails or mud or whatever. it's a tank in the snow. i love it to death, but like i said, i don't have the $$ to tow it, and i can't really afford to have another truck just sitting anymore, and i need the cash to help me get my feet on the ground. the truck would have to be towed due to the steering issues, and i probably wouldn't be able to be there personally to help the buyer load it (it's at my mom's house in harpers ferry wv.) as for the price i'll take about $1100 for it with the tires and stereo, or $900 without.
btw: i have pics up in my member's galleries site
