Yep, guess you're right Brian. I don't wanna start a fight against Toyota drivers at all. But, if I were living in America, the last thing I'd drive is a foreign car or truck, since the most beautiful cars and trucks are made in the States. And, after the states, it's europe. Don't like asian stuff. Asian countries also are killing the western world economically !! We feel it every day, with the import of cheap textiles from countries like China, Pakistan, India, ...

If I was to get a small truck (yeah, right) It would be a Ford Ranger or...
A TOYOTA TACOMA.
"Taco"
I love those little trucks, I have seen 'Yotas do some pretty awesome stuff.
They lead the way in small 4X4 trucks, to me.
I think the more we have the better.
Now "Cheaps" on the other hand.......

i grew up with yoda's and they sucks, all under powered but they managed to do what we needed. my dads last truck was a 97 toyota t100 it was the full size truck for toyota and it was smaller then the dakota. out of my family i am the only one thats learned. im the only one to drive an american vehical. my mom drives a toyota 4runner(suv) and my brother drives a toyota tacoma(small truck) both are junk.

I've never owned one, but I have seen them do some crazy stuff before, I guess you have to build them to be able to use them... JR

'Yota's rule. OVERENGINEERED. Can't say that about american trucks, cause they are OVER WEIGHTED. 'Yota's rule out in the wild. I have people with full sized rigs wanting to make the swap over to 'Yota because they see what my stock one does so well and with reliability. Still waiting to see another manufacturer pull that same kind of engineering. Underpower the engine, over power the drivetrain. Can't complain because I also use my 'Yota for delivering food 4 days out of the week in 6 hour shifts. Truck has 288k miles on it and runs like it was just bought.

It's just because we've got way too many japanese cars/trucks over here in Europe, that I prefer american built trucks/cars, 'cause those are rare here. I'm sure toyota is a good reliable truck, 'cause over here I've got several friends who drive one and they're all happy (landcruisers)

You'd be very surprised how good a stock 'yota will do offroad. I know I was impressed the first time I took mine out...then I started smashing it all up to give it some character...well, that wasn't my orginal intentions, but rocks and metal = dents/character

the t100 i drove before my ram was alright in the snow and the mud, the truck had the V6 and the 5 speed tranny and i only got it stuck in the mud once, and the time i got stuck in the snow i just kept rocking and it came right out. but on the road the truck sucked.
