I'm with Jesse... there's more to building a truck than just making it huge. The steering on the red F150 is totally STUPID and that also looks like a 5lug D44 front axle.... with 49" IROK's bolted to it!??!?!?! I hope that thing never leaves the driveway, unless it's on a trailer. It looks pretty sitting there, but you wouldn't catch me, my friends, or a member of my family anywhere near it on the road! If nothing else, it's a great example of why lift laws exist in just about every state.

its also got a new tribal flame grey paintjob with cutouts and a dual scoop hood now...righteous!!!

After looking up a few things I realized that rear steer and 2 1/2 ton axles aren't all that crazy outragous. I say not crazy, but considering how much money most people spend to even come close to that, it's not too terribly difficult to have a really trick sytem.
I myself on the otherhand want to squeeze out a mere 2 more inches to clear 40's, without spending $10,000 on a solid axle conversion.

We have no frame laws in Louisiana, so pretty much anything goes, all you have to do is relocate lights and you're legal, and fender flares and mudflaps, but nobody writes tickets for that.

that would be fun, but i think there is a limit to something cool. i think once you past the extreme coolness of a truck and build something like the first truck pictured and dont modify the steering or anything like that to make it safe your just play stupid. because what happens if your truck fails to performe on the road like it should and some one gets hurt or even killed.......

#sign001# My point exactly. The steering system, brakes, etc aren't places to skimp when running a nose bleed suspension lift and 49" tires. Full hydro isn't really safe on the highway for a front steer axle either. If you lose pressure(broken line, etc), you don't steer! Just because a state doesn't have lift laws, or inspections, doesn't excuse an owner's responsibility to build a safe truck. If that's the only defense the owner of the red truck goes to court with after killing a family of 4, I hope the judge puts him under the jail. The only way that truck would be safe on the street is strapped to the bed of a trailer on it's way to a show....

/\/\ ditto, he's got an older f-250 that he trailers it everywhere, His engine is still completly stock so it's got a top speed of like 45-50. It wasn't ever built to be a street truck, completly show (which it does dang good at by the way)

I guess I don't understand what judges are looking at in a show, but it must not have anything to do with how well designed/functional the suspension and steering systems are. As long as it's not street driven, I don't see a problem with it. It's pretty, but I just don't understand spending that much money on something that can't be safely used for anything other than a trailer ornament. It's not my money, so I don't really care how he spends it. My only concern was whether, or not, he drives it on the street when it's clearly unsafe.
