well they are powder coated with the telfon i guess and there are a few chips in them and when they put the tires on they managed to put a nice scratch in them, but its not real noticable. they are a nice rim nonetheless. there claim to fame was that they are easy to clean and well they are, and i just love that frying pan look when they are clean.

My son wants a set of the ARE teflon wheels for his Bronco. They don't really appeal to me, but that's why they make chocolate and vanilla ice cream I guess. I do hear they clean up REAL nice!

they do clean nice but they are not worth what they cost new, i dont think. i got mine used off ebay for 400 bucks and they only had 5000 miles on them, otherwise i wouldnt have gotten my teflon coated rims

hey Ufo, how well do your teflon rims hold up against the salt?
I'm thinking about running my wheels in the winter time.

I've had trouble getting one tire and wheel balanced on my ride since I got this setup. Finally a tire place is going to do a "bean bag" mod on it. It's not done yet they had to order the bean bag, but they friggin scratched the rim up good. I asked them if there was some touch up paint for my rim cause it's noticeable from 10 feet away. Should they fix what they scratched up? I mean d**n, it's a professional tire place, lets see some professional.

I would take it right back and have them pay for it. If they want your business agian they better. They should stand by there work anyhow if they are a professional tire place, that is my .02 cents. But don't prolong it to long, becasue they might say you did it. You know...
Hope you get it all worked out.

Yeah man there is silver metal there, fresh scratch. I already let them know on the phone and asked them to fix it when I take it back down there.
