Well not exactly what I wanted, but it should be a fun project. Plans are 2" more lift and hopefulyy 34x9.5 swamper, lower gears, snorkle, rock protection etc. 92 XJ sport - 4.0 with auto currently has 4.5" rough country lift Does have some rust I need to take care off - came with new rocker panels - but will also need some floor board work down the road.

Yeah I would imagine it would be a dollar to two. That combo sold pretty quick - but looking in my garage right now at one time I had 4 sets of tires/rims in it. Sold a few sets but have one more left - my 32's and also hopefully have a buyer for my 14b so then I can get some cheap rims and get the xj rolling again.

Been looking around here, but I think because we are military town prices are crazy. I mean they have them at the local salvage yard but I am not going to pay that much for them. Well hope you get the jeep going and keep us updated.

Got the rims today - so of course had to get em mounted. Had some issues with the tire place so it took longer getting them done. Here's a few pics - will get some more tomorrow during the day:

Thanks for the comments - hopefully less then a few months an we should be hitting the trails. May have to change out the wheel bearings - noticed a little play in the tires when jacked up - nothing major yet though.

Well we are trying to get a wheeling trip for first or second weekend of March - got a few fullsize rams, jeep pickups, TJs, and XJs wanting to go. Hoping to get new gears for the front to match my new rear axle I bought - new rear is another 8.25 with 4.56 gears and locked.

The Jeep looks awesome OR Ram, some vehicles are lucky to fall into good hands. Those flames look kick ass on your truck Bird Dog....I usually don't care for flames on vehicles but those go great man, I like how they are somewhat transparent and blend well. BTW, I tried to jump on the site a while back and I haven't been able to find it using www.skysthelimit4x4.com Thanks to BigGreen for showing me the right link! Hope all is well everybody!

I throw out a few wheelin pics on this post later. Recently swapped out rear axle with another of the same but with locker and 4.56 gears. Also picked this sweet rear bumper up a few weeks back for almost nothing.
