what do you guys/gals think is the perfect lift/ tire size for a dodge
just trying to get some opinions before my next build
i liked my 33" lift with 49" tires but it was too big and just useless
the 18" lift and 44" tires was big and a head turner but too big for the road, perfect for offroad
15" on 42.. was the same
15" on 38" tires was a big lift decent size tires looked good had great power but the tires was too small
8" on 36" was nice but too small
so tell me what you people think...

I'd say 15 on 38's. I think it would look good and still have a descent ride on the streets.

I would think anything more than 10" of lift and 38"s or 39"s would be hard to use for a daily driver and handle decent, but would still turn heads.

Dammit! I'm still too little.
As with everything in life if you can afford to go bigger, do it. God knows I would.
holy crap, a 33" lift on 49s? I'd have got down on my knees and worshipped you. That truck must have been amazing.

It truely was, Pixi.
I will go with the crowd on this one...10 and 38's.
I would have to have 44's, but as a daily driver, might not be so hot.... I am not building mine to run on the road, matter of fact it will be highly illegal on the street, even here in Alabama, over 30 inches of lift, 44 boggers and rockwells, i cant decide if I want full hydro or not...
But this wasnt about me, I say 10 and 38's Fiji, that would be a happy medium.

I like the look of about 10" lift with 38-39" tires. Thats the setup im going for. Already have the lift put on just need the bigger tires

I say 10 inches and 38 b/c you see a lot of trucks with 6 inch lift and 35 so you are still standin out but can drive it daily

For a 1/2 ton I would go with 7-10" and 37's - 39's. My personal goal is 5-7" susp + 3" body of lift and either 37's or 38s on mine. If it were a 3/4 or bigger I would think around the same maybe a few inches larger and hopefully 40's. Course again daily driver can still be two different things - either short distance daily or long, and being a long distance I may shrink it down a little possibly?
